FinGlance Privacy Policy

1. Purpose of Processing Personal Information
FinGlance processes personal information for the following purposes. Personal information will not be used for any purpose other than those listed below. If the purpose changes, we will obtain prior consent.

- Providing corporate financial statement lookup and visualization
- Providing company search functionality
- Providing Sankey diagram visualization
- Providing favorites functionality (stored locally on device)
- Saving theme settings (stored locally on device)
- Providing personalized user experience
2. Personal Information Collected
a. Required Information
- User preferences (theme mode)
- Favorites data (company codes, company names)
b. Automatically Collected Information
- Device information (via Firebase Analytics)
- App usage logs
- Error logs
- App usage patterns
c. Retention Period
- Stored in local storage until the user deletes the app
3. Retention and Deletion of Personal Information
- User favorites and settings data are stored in the user's on-device storage and are not transmitted to any external servers.
- Some data is stored locally via AsyncStorage to improve app usability.
- When the app is deleted, all locally stored data is automatically destroyed.
- Financial statement data is retrieved in real time through the Financial Supervisory Service DART API and consists of publicly disclosed corporate data, not personal information.
4. Sharing Personal Information with Third Parties
FinGlance does not share users' personal information with third parties as a general rule. All user settings data is processed solely within the user's device and is not transmitted to any external servers.
However, anonymized app usage statistics may be collected through Firebase Analytics to improve the service. This data is processed in a form that cannot identify individuals.

2. Network Security
- HTTPS encrypted communication when retrieving financial data
- Personal information is not transmitted over the network; only publicly disclosed corporate data is retrieved
- Analytics data is transmitted only through encrypted connections
6. User Rights and How to Exercise Them
Users may exercise the following rights:
- Request deletion of personal information by uninstalling the app
- View and modify saved favorites and settings data
- Manage and delete favorites
- Change theme settings
- Manage tracking permissions via App Tracking Transparency (ATT) on iOS

8. Changes to this Privacy Policy
